Say Hola

Our Mission

To inspire and create spaces where children can learn Spanish while exploring the World.

Our Vision

To be proud of setting up a big Community of Spanish speakers, offering multi-area activities, and bringing fun to learning.

We Believe

Foreign languages should be accessible to children at the earliest opportunity as their benefits are endless.

Our Story

Behind Say Hola With Me, there are Ana and Leticia, two Spanish friends who have put together all their knowledge and experience with children to create a space with sensory,  expressive, and physical activities while learning Spanish.
It was in the period when both became mothers for the first time when Leticia and Ana met and Say Hola With Me foundations started. From dream to reality, Say Hola With Me has started its journey in Edinburgh to bring you a fresh experience, a new way of learning and fun for everyone.

As parents, we noticed a big need within our Spanish community in Edinburgh. We worried that our little ones could miss their roots and culture as there was not a space where they could develop their heritage language with other children.

As professionals, we believe that children need time and space to grow. That’s why our sessions are guided but open so the little ones have the freedom to explore themselves. We also understand the importance of exposure to other languages since very little, even if Spanish is not spoken at home. We are not just offering your child the opportunity to learn a new language but a new country and culture.

Ana Gonzalez Escobar

Ana has a Graduate Degree in Translation and Interpreting but she always knew that teaching was her real vocation which is why she decided to qualify as a Spanish teacher as a foreign language by Instituto Cervantes. She moved to Edinburgh to broaden her experience and worked as a nursery practitioner and room leader for 4 years.

Leticia Muñoz Pajares

Leticia has a Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy and also studied Spanish Sign Language but her true passion was always children so she became a technician of childhood education. When she moved to Edinburgh she started to work in a childcare company where she stayed for 9 years and gained the SVQ in Social Services (children and young people) qualification.
